49 Basic operation Changing the sear ch area This navigat ion system divide s the U.S. and Canada into 11 block areas. For any sear ch method emp loyed, the syste m will conduct a search in the area you are occupying unless t he search ar ea has been changed.

102 Point registration 1. What is point registration Up to 106 geographical points - categorized as "home," memory points or spe cial memory points - can be stor ed on a map by reg istering them as memory points. There can be one "home" and u p to five special memory points.
