DVD 3 DVD Playback Preparations ! Power on the TV set, and select “V ideo” as the TV input. ! Power on the stereo system if the player has been connected to a stereo system. Basic Playback 1 Press POWER on. The power LED is green on. 2 Press EJECT to open the disc tray .

DVD 7 Convenient Functions - continued Changing Audio Soundtrack Language Y ou can change the audio language from the one selected at the initial settings to a different language, if available. (This operation func- tions only with discs on which multiple audio soundtrack languages are recorded.
8 Convenient Functions - continued Viewing From Another Angle Some DVD discs may contain scenes which have been shot simulta- neously from a number of different angles. For these discs, the same scenes can be viewed from each of these different angles using the ANGLE “ ” button.
DVD 9 T o Mute the DVD Player In some cases, you may need to mute the DVD player tempo- rarily . This player provides a MUTE function for your selections. 1 Press MUTE during playback. 2 Press MUTE again to resume the sound. ! When “MUTE” appears on the screen, the sound now is muted.
