Using Y our Projector 15 3 Using Y our Projector T u rning Y our Projector On NOTE: T urn on the projector before you turn on the source. The Power button light blinks blue until pressed. 1 Remove the lens cap. 2 Connect the power cord and a ppropriat e signal cables.

T o clear the message, press the Menu button on the control panel or ignore the message; the message disappears after 5 seconds.

20 Using Y our Projector 2 TEMP warning light • A soli d amber TEMP light indicates that the projector , lamp, or lamp driver are over heated. The display au tomatically shu ts down. T urn the display on again after the projector cools down. If th e proble m pers ists, conta ct Dell ™ .

22 Using Y our Projector Using the On-Screen Display The projector has a multi-language On -Screen Display (OSD) that can be displayed with or without a n input source pr esent. T o navigate through the tabs in the Main Menu, pres s the or buttons on your projectors control panel or remote control.
Using Y our Projector 23 adjust the sett ings. T o go back to Main Menu , go to Back tab and press the Enter button on the control panel or the r emote control. T o exit the OSD, go to EXIT tab and pr ess the Enter button or press the Menu button dir ectly on the control panel or the r emote control.
24 Using Y our Projector AUTO-ADJUST Auto Ad just automatically adjusts the projector's FREQUENCY and TRA CKING in PC mode . While Auto Adjustment is in progress, the following message appears on the screen, " Auto Adjustment in Progress... ".

28 Using Y our Projector F REQUENCY — Allows you to change the display data clock frequency to match the frequency of your computer graphics ca rd. If you see a vertical flickering wave, use Fr e q u e n c y control to minimize the bars. This is a coarse adjustment.

The Pictur e menu, provides the following options: L AMP H OUR — Displays the operating hours since the last lamp timer r eset. P OWER S AVING — Select Y es to set the P ower Saving delay period.
