This mode can only be detected when you half press the shutter button. Night Scene This mode is set when: y There is no face detected y The focus distance is more than 1.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 25 Using Blink Detection Mode The Blink Detection mode tracks faces and determines captured image that cont ain subjects wit h blinke d eyes. After shooting, whe n the camera detect s that the subject blinked an eye, a menu selection app ears to ask the user whether to sav e the image or not.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 26 Using the Q mode The Q mode provides a simplif ied camera interface. Larger icons and fe wer controls make it easier to take pictures a nytime, especially for the begin ners and elder users.

AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 28 Using the Zoom Function Your camera has a combination o f optical and digital zoom functions that allows you to zoom in on far away subjects o r zo om out for a wide angle shot. The optical zoom is achieved by m echa nically adjusting the lens of the came ra.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 29 Using the Flash The flash is not only for taking p ictu res when th ere is insufficient light, but also when the subject is in shade or in backl ight conditions. Press the flas h button to cycle your camera through the various flash mod es.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 30 Using the Macro Your camera is equipped with a macro fun c tio n that allows you to focus on very close subjects. In macro mode you can focus on subjects 15 c m from the lens when in the maximum wide angle setting a nd 40 cm in the maximum tele phot o setting.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 31 Using the Self-timer & Burst Use the self-timer to set a delay from the time t he shutter button is pressed to the time the image is shot. Use the burst to record cont inuous still images shooting. T urn the power on, and set the camera to the REC mode ( p age 13).
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 32 Using the Aperture P riority In this mode, you can set an apert ure v alue to match the brightness. A higher ap erture value brings the b ackgroun d o ut of focus. Sele cting a lo wer ape rture v alue allo ws you to soften the b ackground.

AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 38 Setting the ISO With the initial settings, the ISO sensitivit y is automatically set according to the brightness of the subject. Option Desc ription Auto Sets the ISO sensitivit y automatically . ISO 100 Set s the se nsitivity to ISO 100 equivalent.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 39 Setting the Sharpness Y ou can select whether you want the image to have sharp or sof t outlines. Option Desc ription The edges of the image are em ph asized. Th e edges will become sharp, but noise may occur in the r ec ording image.
AgfaPhoto DC-1033m 40 Setting St abilizer When using higher sen sitivity and faster shutter spee d settings this function help s prevent image blur; caused by h an d shake or target m ovement. Th is function a llows good pictures to be t aken with little ef fort.
