Operation 13 Operation 12 Highway/City Mode Muting Mode Highway/City Mode T he Highway/City function is controlled by a 2-step button. The Highway Mode is automatically engaged when the unit is first powered up . In t he City Mode, false radar aler ts will be reduced .
PRESS & HOLD City/ Wx S et W eather Alert Pr ess WX button for more than 2 seconds t o activate Weather Alert. When ac tivated the unit will announce “Weather Alert On” in V oice Mode or signal two beeps in T one Mode . When in Wx Alert On Mode, the Wx LED will blink slowly , even though you do not hear the weather r adio.
Detection 16 T one Alarm And V oice Alert™ Detection 17 R adar T he display will show the band (X, K/Ka). The signal strength will first be indicated by the band being illuminated , then by signal strength LEDs which increase in size as you approach the r adar gun.
