Place the lower door bearing with the bearing pivot in the lower left of the freezer compartment door and fasten.

818 36 43-01/7 21 ALARM OFF button With the ALARM OFF button, th e acoustic warning signal can be switched off, e.g. the "Open Door" warning when sorting in or out, the food to be chilled or frozen.

818 36 43-01/7 25 Switching the Appliance Off 3 Refrigerator and fr eezer compartments can be switched off independently of one another . 0 1. To switch off the appliance, hold down the ON/OFF button. This will re sult in a countdown fr om "3" to "1" takin g place in the temperatur e displays.
26 818 36 43-01/7 Holiday Mode In the holiday mode the temperatur e for the refriger ator is approxi- mately +15 °C. In the holiday mode it is ther efore possible to leave the door of the empty refriger ator closed during periods of extended absence.
818 36 43-01/7 27 Contr ol and Information Systems The contr ol and information systems consist of temper ature displays, an optical warning display and an acoustic warning.
28 818 36 43-01/7 For the freezer: The red warning display flashes and a warning tone sounds as soon as the temperatur e in the fr eezer rises to more than -12 °C. In addition the freezer temper ature display flashes. 0 1. Y ou can switch off the warning to ne using the ALARM OFF button.
818 36 43-01/7 29 Interior Accessories Stor age Shelves A storage shelf must be inserted in to the lower guide tr ack above the fruit and vegetable drawer . It must always remain in this position, so that fruits and vegetabl es r emain fresh longer . The remaining stor age shelves can be adjusted to various heights: 0 1.

32 818 36 43-01/7 Fr eezing Except for the bottom drawer , which serves only for storage purposes, all compartments and drawer s in the freezer compartment ar e suitable for freezing fresh food. War n in g! • Before foods are fr ozen, the actual temperatur e in the freezer compartment must be -18 °C or colder .
818 36 43-01/7 33 Tips: • The follo wing ar e suited for the packaging of frozen goods: – freezer bags and polyethylene wr aps; – plastic containers for fr ozen foods; – extra-thick aluminium foil • The follo wing ar e suited for sealing bags and wraps: plastic clips, rubber bands or adhesive tape.
