Operating Instructions 6 • Never place the dishwasher in opera tion if the mains cable, water inlet or drain hose is damaged; or the contr ol panel, work top or plinth area is damaged such that the inside of the appliance is fr eely accessible.

Operating Instructions 9 Display and Contr ol Fields The Control Field comprises the On/Off sw itch 9 and the progr amme buttons with LED indicator s. Softener and Functi on Button: in addition to the wash pr ogram marked, it is also possible to adjust the dishwasher's water softener using the combination of these buttons.

Operating Instructions 21 Selecting the W ash Pr ogr amme (Pr ogr amme T able) Choose the most suitable wash progr amme with the aid of this table: 1) During BIO pr ogrammes the wash water is briefl y heated to 60 ° C, so that the active oxyge n ca n become effective.

Operating Instructions 24 Switching Off the Dishwasher At the end of the wash pr ogramme, the door of the dishwasher is unlocked and a continuous tone sounds for 5 seconds. 1 Hot steam may escape fr om the appliance when opening the door immediately after the end of the pr ogramme.

In the event of a fault, the safety valve immediately interrupts the sup- ply of water to the appliance and the drain pump switches on.
