Loading P aper 4-6 P aper Ha ndling 4 2 Remove any curling fr om the envelopes b y holding the edges diagonally and bending them gently . 3 Run a pen or other roun ded object along the bac k flaps to flatten them. The flaps should not bul ge more than 5 mm.
Loading Pap er 4-7 P aper Ha ndling 4 7 Load the envelopes with the pri nt side down and the right ed ge (i.e ., closer to the stamp) f irst. If the en velope to be loade d has a flap on t he shor t edge, this ed ge must enter the machine first. Not loading it this wa y will result in a paper jam.
Loading P aper 4-8 P aper Ha ndling 4 Loading P aper in t he Multi-Pu rpose Feeder Use the multi-purpose fe eder when you want to cop y or pr int on the diff erent paper which is in the cassette. Load paper one by one in the mu lti-pur pose feeder . NO TE The paper in the multi-purpose feeder is f ed prior to the paper in the cassette.

Group Dialin g 5-9 Speed Dialing 5 Gr oup Dialing Group dialing allows y ou to store as many as 130 numbers (199 number s for the F AX-L390 model) under One-T ouch Speed Dial but tons or Coded Speed Dialing codes.
Group Dialing 5-10 Speed Dialing 5 NO TE • Each One-T ouch Speed Dial button or Coded Speed Diali ng code can store either a name and number f or speed dialing, or a group. Be careful not to o verride speed dialing numbers and names when creating groups.
