3 1. Introduction Thank you for purchasing Advantek Networks AWR-854G Wireless 11g/b Broadband Rou ter. This Wireless Broadband Router is IEEE8 02.11g and IEEE802 .
4 1.1 Features Internet Access Features • Shar ed In tern et Ac cess : All users on th e LAN or WLA N can a cce ss the I nte rnet through the Wireless Router, using only a single external IP address. The local (invalid) IP addresses are hidden from external sources.

7 1.4 System Requirements • One or more PCs (desktop or notebook) with Ethernet interface. • TCP /IP prot ocol must be inst alled o n all PCs. • Have valid Internet Access account and a DSL or ca ble modem. • 10/100 BaseT ne twork ca bles wi th RJ-45 con nectors.
8 2 PC Configuration User needs to configure TCP/IP network settings, Interne t access configuration and Wireless configuration for each system within Wireless Router’s LAN network. By default, Wireless Router acts as a DHCP server for ser ver version of Windows, it automatically assigns IP address to ea ch system when systems boot up.
