Easy Setup Instructions 4 Preparing the Printer 1 Place the printer on a flat surface. 2 Remove the tape from the printer. The tape position is subjec t to change . 3 Plug the power cord into the back of the printer and connect the other end to a power outlet.

Replace the battery in the remote control when the remote control becomes inoperative or its effective range becomes s horter. The lithium coin cell battery CR2025 is available for this remote control.
Printer Parts and Their Function 11 Menu Screen The following menu can be selected when a memory card is inserted in the memory card slot and the printer and the T V are connected. You can select the following functions in each menu. Photo Gallery View each photo and print.

Printing Maintenance 55 Printing Maintenance When Printing Becomes F aint or C olors are Incorrect When printing becomes faint or colors are incorrect, even if ink remains in the ink tanks, the print head nozzles are probably clogged. Follow the procedures below to clean the nozzles.
Printing Maintenance 56 Printing the Nozzle Check Pattern Print the nozzle check patte rn to determine whether the ink ejects properly from the print head nozzles. Use this function when printed results are blurred or the color is incorrect. 1 Prepare to print.

Printing Maintenance 62 note • T o maintain optimal print quality, use an in k tank within six mont hs of its first use. • Once an ink tank has been used, do not remove it from the printe r and leave it out in the open. This will cause the ink tank to dry out and the printer may not function properly if it is reinstalled.
Printing Maintenance 63 How Low Ink W arning Setting W orks The low ink warning notifies you of low ink levels during printing. The Low Ink W arning has been prese t to be automatically displayed. When you reset the ink c ounter, it wi ll assume that the ink tank is full regardless of how much ink actually re mains.
