Che ck that the paper is flat in the tr a y and below the maximum paper mark a . h Sl ow ly push the pap er tray com pletely into the machine. i While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support a until it clicks, and t hen unfold the pap er suppo rt flap b .

Conne ct one end of the tele phone line cord to the jack o n the machine m arked LIN E a nd the ot her e nd to a mod ula r wa ll jac k.
