Check that th e paper is flat in the tr a y and below the maximum paper mark a . h Sl ow ly push the pap er tray com pletely into the machine. i While holding the paper tray in place, pull out the paper support a until it clicks, and t hen unfold the pap er suppo rt flap b .

(black/yellow/cyan/mag enta) c If all lines are clear an d visi ble, press 1 ( Yes ) on the dial pa d to finish t he quality c heck.
8 7 Choose the corr ect Recei ve Mode The correc t Receive Mo de is dete rmined by t he external devices a nd teleph one subscr iber service s (Voice M ail, Distinctive Ring, etc.) you have (or wi ll be using) on the same l ine as the Brother machine.
