8 For Y our Safety General Safety Don’t make or receive handheld calls while driving. And never text while driving. Don’t use at petrol stations. Keep your phone at least 15 mm away from your ear or body while making calls. Y our phone may produce a bright or ashing light.
9 Switch off when asked to in hospitals and medical facilities. Avoid contacting with liquids. Keep your phone dry . Switch off when told to in aircrafts and airports. Don’t take your phone apart. Switch off when near explosive materials or liquids.
10 Product Handling General Statement on Handling and Use Y ou alone are responsible for how you use your phone and any consequences of its use. Y ou must always switch off your phone wherever the use of a phone is prohibited. Use of your phone is subject to safety measures designed to protect users and their environment.

13 Emergency Calls This phone, like any wireless phone, operates using radio signals, which cannot guarantee connection in all conditions. Therefore, you must never rely solely on any wireless phone for emergency communications. Loud Noise This phone is capable of producing loud noises, which may damage your hearing.
14 Faulty and Damaged Products Do not attempt to disassemble the phone or its accessory . Only qualied personnel can service or repair the phone or its accessory .
15 The level of interference will depend on the type of hearing device and the distance from the interference source, increasing the separation between them may reduce the interference. Y ou may also consult y our hearing aid manufacturer to discuss alternatives.
16 Interference in Cars Please note that because of possible interference to electronic equipment, some vehicle manufacturers forbid the use of mobile phones in their vehicles unless a hands-free kit with an external antenna is included in the installation.
17 RF Exposure Specic Absorption Rate (SAR) Y our mobile device is a radio transmitter and receiver . It is designed not to exceed the limits for exposure to radio waves recommended by international guidelines.
18 Body Worn Operation Important safety information regarding radio frequency (RF) radiation exposure. T o ensure compliance with RF exposure guidelines the phone must be used with a minimum of 10 mm separation from the body . Failure to observe these instructions could result in your RF exposure exceeding the relevant guideline limits.

20 Keys Explained Key Function Power Key • Hold to turn on or off Silent or vibrate or Ring or Airplane mode, or to power off. • Press to switch your phone to Sleep mode. • Press to wake up your phone. Home Key • Press to return to the Home Screen from any application or screen.
21 2. Hold the SIM card with the cut corner oriented as shown, and slip it into the card holder . NOTES: • Switch off your phone before installing or replacing the SIM card. • If you are a small card, please use the SIM card dedicated card sets, and then the whole into the slot Normal use.
22 NOTE: The phone supports SD card hot- plug function.Some applications may require a microSD card to work normally or may store certain data on it. Therefore, it is recommended that you keep a microSD card installed and not remove or replace it randomly .
23 Charging the Battery When you rst get your new phone you’ll need to charge the battery . 1. Connect the adapter to the charger jack. Ensure that the adapter is inserted with the correct orientation. Do not force the connector into the charger jack.
24 Switching Y our Phone On/Off Make sure the SIM card is in your phone and the battery is charged. • Press and hold the Power Key to turn on your phone. • T o switch it off, hold Power Key to get the phone options. Select Power off , and then tap OK .
25 W aking Up Y our Phone 1. Press Power Key to activate your screen display . 2. Swipe up to unlock. NOTE: If you have set an unlock pattern, PIN or password for your phone (see chapter Sorting out Y our Phone Settings – Security Settings) you’ll need to draw the pattern or enter the PIN/password to unlock your screen.
26 Home Screen In the Home screen, besides the shortcut icon is displayed, you can also set your own wallpaper , add the widgets or application shortcuts you need, or remove them as you like. Extended Home Screen The Home Screen extends beyond the screen width, giving you loads more space to add more stuff.
27 Removing Items from Y our Home Screen 1. Press Home Key to return to the Home Screen. 2. T ap and hold the item you want to delete until the Remove appears on the screen. 3. Drag the item to the remove icon and release your nger when the item turns red.
28 Using the Notication Panel Flick the status bar downwards from across the top of the sc reen to open the Noticati on Panel, where you can see your calendar events, new Messaging, and current settings – such as call forwarding or call status.
29 Calling from Y our Contacts 1. Press Home key > tap > Contacts . 2. Slide your nger to scroll the contacts list and tap the contact you want to call. Y ou can search for a contact by tapping on the top of the screen. 3. Call the contact. Calling from Y our Call History 1.
30 Muting a Call During a call, you can mute your microphone so that the person you are speaking to cannot hear you, but you can still hear them. T ap to turn your mic rophone off. T o turn your microphone back on, tap again. T urning the Speakerphone On/Off T ap during a call to turn the speakerphone on.

34 Adding a New Network Connection T o get connected via your mobile network you need a data plan with your service provider . Also if the networks settings are not pre- congured on your phone, please contact your provider to get the necessary information.
35 NOTE: If security features are implemented, you’ll need to enter a password. Checking the Wi-Fi Network Status Y ou can check the Wi-Fi network by looking at the icon in the status bar. T ethering & portable hotspot Share your phone’s data connection via USB or as a portable Wi-Fi hotspot.
36 NOTE: • When the portable Wi-Fi hotspot function is enabled, you can’t use your phone’s applications to access the internet via its Wi-Fi connection. Y ou can congure the Wi-Fi hotspot as follows: 1. Press Home Key > tap > Settings > More> T ethering & portable hotspot and slide the Portable Wi-Fi hotspot switch 2.
37 • Press Menu Key > Close and select Quit to exit. • Press Menu Key > Bookmarks/History and select a bookmark or history to open. • Press Menu Key > Settings to congure browser settings. Using Bookmarks If you know the Web address, you can manually add bookmarks.
38 Changing Browser Settings T ap Menu Key > Settings from a browser window to change browser settings. Bluetooth Bluetooth is a short-range wireless communication technology . Phones or other devices with Bluetooth capabilities can exchange information wirelessly within a distance of about 10 meters.
39 Making the Most of Multimedia T aking Pictures with Y our Camera Y our phone has camera function. Open it by pressing Home Key > tap > Camera .
40 Listening to Y our FM Radio With the FM Radio, you can search for radio channels, listen to them, and collect them to your phone. Note that the quality of the radio broadcast depends on the coverage of the radio station in your area. The wired headset works as an antenna, so always connect the headset when using the radio.
41 Making V oice Memos Sound Recorder enables you to record your voice memos. 1. Press Home Key > tap > Sound Recorder . 2. T ap to start recording. 3. T ap to stop recording. 4. T ap to play back the voice recording. 5. Save the voice recording after stop, or tap Discard to delete the recording.
42 Gmail Gmail is a web-based email service that’s congured when you sign in to your Google account. Depending on your synchronization settings, the Gmail on your phone can be automatically synchronized with your Gmail account on the we b. 44 Switching Networks 1. Press Home key > tap > Settings > More > Cellular networks > Network operators . The phone automatically searches for all available networks. 2. T ap a network to register manually , or tap Choose automatically .
45 Unlocking the Screen with Y our Pattern 1. Press Power Key to wake up the screen. 2. Draw the pattern you set to unlock the screen. If you make a mistake, please try again. Protecting Y our Phone with a PIN or Password Creating a PIN or Password 1.
46 1. Press Home key > tap > Settings > Security > Set up SIM card lock . 2. Tick the Lock SIM card check box. 3. Enter the PIN you’ve been given and tap OK . TIPS: If you enter the wrong SIM PIN more times than allowed, your SIM card will be locked and you cannot access the mobile phone network.
