9 HOW TO FINISH UNPACKING · Place appl iance nex t to the c abinet in whic h it will be instal led. · Remove the appli ance pack ing except for bo ttom tray which shoul d be left in p osition until the applianc e is re ady to be f itted into its cabin et.
10 CONNECTING TO THE MAINS TERMINAL Warning: This applia n ce must be earthed. · Make c onnection as s hown in F ig. 6 b y proceed ing as follows:- · Preform wires to th e appropr iate shape to s uit fitting int o the m ains term inal bloc k. · Strip in ner insul ation on wires usin g wirestrippe rs.

13 WHEN FIRST SWITCHING ON The oven has a 24 hour cloc k. W hen the oven is fir st switched on at the wall the elec tronic dis pla y will automatic ally sho w 12.00, and t he 'Tim e' ( ) neon will also f lash. To set the tim e of day and use t he tim er refer to instruc tions on page 15.

21 USES OF THE TOP OV EN The top oven is the s maller of the tw o ovens. It is des igned for cooking s maller quantiti es of f ood. It gives especia lly good results if used to co ok f ruit cak es, sweets and s avour y flans or quiche. The top oven is als o ideal f or use as warming c ompar tment to warm dishes and k eep food hot.

26 USES OF THE CONVE NTIONA L OVEN This form of cooking gives you the opportu nity to cook without t he fan in operat ion. It is particul arly suitab le for dishes which req uire ex tra base br ownin g such as pizzas , quiches and fla ns.
