5 CONNECTING THE APPLIAN C E TO THE GAS SUPPLY Before connecting the appliance to the ga s supply you first need to remov e the plastic protective plug for the gas supply which is inserted und er pressure in the gas inlet connection. To remove the plug simply unscrew it.
6 CAUTION: save the orifices remov ed from the appliance for future use Regulation of burners Regulation of the "MINIMUM" on the burners To regulate the minimum on the burners carry out the following proce dure indicated below: 1) Turn on the burner and put the knob onto position MINIMUM ( small flame ).
7 BEFORE LEAVING When the installation is co mplete, always check for gas leak s using a soapy solution. Never use a flame to make this check. Ignite all burners on high flame to ensure correct opera tion of gas valves, burne rs and ignition.
8 Tips for using burners correctly : WARNING: During use of ea ch gas burner(s) adjust the bu rner flame size properly so it does not extend beyond the edge of the cook ing utensil. This is an instruct ion based on safety considerations - Use suitable pots for each burner (see Fig.
9 Cleaning the burner caps: Lift the burn er caps from the burner heads and wash them in soapy water and dry thoroughly. Before replacement on the burne r head en sure that the holes are not clogged.
