If your print er is not already connect ed to the computer, the Co nn e c t D e v ic e screen will ap pear.

If your printer is connected to the computer, a Te s t P r i n t page will be printed. If the Te s t P r i n t oper ation is successful, continue on to Pri nt P rocedure on page 34 in this document.

If your printer is connected to the network, a Te s t P r i n t page will be printed. If the Te s t P r i n t oper ation is successful, continue on to Pri nt P rocedure on page 34 in this document.

If you don't want to connect the printer at this time, select Next , and then No on the f ollowing screen. Then the ins tallation will star t and a test page will not be printed at the end of the installation.

The print er driver must be loaded on eac h PC which uses the machine f or printing. Note: Some options may be una vailabl e depending on your machine configur ation.

These options include orientation settings, quality settings, lay out options and double- sided printing settings.

T abs on the sides of the cartridge and corresponding groov es within the machine wi ll guide the cartridge into the correct position until it is f ully pushed into place.
