Remove the scanner from it s protective foam and plastic bag. 2. Open the ADF cover and carefully remove any foam particles that may have gotten inside it.

Plug the power cord into th e power supply and into a wall outlet. 3. Now proceed to the next section, “S tep 4: Connect the USB Cable and T urn on the Power .

Each method scans eq ually well, so use the one with appropriate option s for the item you are scanning.

The scanner scans the item, then sends the image to the Destination Applica tion indicated by the button’ s icon.

Click on the button you set to use the Configure Before Scan option. In the example shown on the prev ious p age, the scanning option 9 has been set to use Configure Before Scan.

Y ou can then work with the text and numbers to edit, spell check, change font or type size, sort, calculate, and so forth.
