4 The An ti- Tip Bra cket The range will no t tip during normal use. However , the range can tip if you appl y too much force or weight to the open d oor wit hou t th e anti-tip bracket fastened down p roperly . Tip Over Hazard A child or adult can tip the range and be killed.

6 COOKTOP U SE Cooktop C ontrols Electric ign iters au tomatical ly light the su rface bur ners when control knobs are turned t o IGNITE. Before setting a control knob, p lace filled cookw ar e on the grat e. Do not operate a bur ner using empty cookware or without cookware on th e grate.
7 Sealed Surf ace Burners IMPORT AN T : Do not obstruct the flow of combustion and ventilat ion air around the bur ner grate edge s. Burner cap: Always keep the bur ner cap in place w hen using a surface bu rner . A clean bur ner cap will help avoid poor i gnition and uneven flames.

10 Style 1 - Elect ronic Oven Control T o Lock Co ntrols: 1. Check that the oven is off and no delayed ti med cooking is programmed. 2. Press and hold CONTROL LOCKOUT for 3 secon ds. A singl e tone wi ll sound. “Loc,” “LOCKED ,” and the contr ol lockou t icon will be di spla yed.

12 Mea t The rmome ter On models wit hout a temperatu re probe, use a meat thermometer to determine donenes s of meat, poultry and fish. The inter nal tempera ture, not appearance, should be used to determine doneness. A mea t therm ome ter is not suppli ed with this ap pliance .
13 BROILING CHART For best res ults, place food 3" (7 cm) or mor e from the br oil burn er . Times are guidelines only and may need to be ad justed for indivi dual tast es. Recom mended rack po sition s are num bered fro m the bott om (1) to the to p (5).
14 T imed Cooking (on s ome model s) Timed Cooking allows the oven to b e set to turn on at a certain time of day , cook for a se t length of time, and/or shu t off automatical ly . Delay start should not be us ed for food such as breads and cakes bec ause they may n ot bake properly .
15 W armin g Drawer (on some models ) The W armi ng Drawer is ideal for keeping hot cooked foods at serving temperature. It may also be used for warming breads and pastries . Different types of food may be placed in the warmin g drawer at the sam e time.
16 RANGE CARE Self-C leaning Cycle (on some m o dels) IMPORT AN T : The health of some birds is extremely sensi tive to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Expos ure to the fume s may result in death to certain birds. Alway s move birds to another clos ed and well-venti lated room.
17 Style 2 - Electric Ov en Control The AUTO-CLEAN cy cle time is adj ustable, fr om 2 hours 30 minut es and 4 hours 30 minutes in 15 -minute increments . Suggested cle an times are 2 hour s 30 minutes for li ght soil and 4 hour s 30 minut es for heav y soil.
18 CONTROL P ANEL Do not use ab rasive cleaners , steel- wool pads, gritty washcloth s or some paper towe ls. Damage may occur . Cleaning Method: ■ Glass cleaner an d soft cloth or sp onge: Apply glass cleaner to soft cloth or sp onge, not directly on panel.
19 Ove n Li ght The oven light is a standard 40-wa tt applian ce bulb. Before replacing, make sure the ove n and cooktop are cool and the control knobs are in the off position. T o Replace: 1. Unplug range or discon nect power . 2. T u rn the glas s bulb cover in the back of the ove n counterclockwise t o remove.
20 Wa r m i n g D r a w e r (on some models ) Remove all items fr om inside the w arming drawer , and allow the range to cool complet ely before attempt ing to remove the drawer . To R e m o v e : 1. Open drawer to it s fully open position. 2. Locate the black triangl e-shap ed tabs o n both sides of the drawer .
