10 2. Pull the c oil element straight away from the receptacle. 3. Lift out the bu rner bowl . T o Replace: 1. Line up openings in th e burn er bowl with the coil eleme nt receptacle. 2. Holding the coi l element as le vel as possi ble, slowly push the coil element t erminal into th e receptacle.

15 12-Hour Sh ut-Off Styles 1, 2, 3 & 4 - Electr onic Oven Controls The oven contr ol is set to automati cally shut o ff the oven 12 hours after the oven tu rns on .
16 BAKEWARE T o cook food evenly , hot air must be able to circulate. Allow 2" (5 cm) of spac e around bakeware and oven walls. Use the following chart as a guide. Spli t Ov en Rack (on so me models) Split-Rack with Re movable Insert The split-rack with removable i nsert is a spa ce maximizer .
17 Oven V ent The oven vent releas es hot air and mois ture from the oven, and should not be blocked or cover ed. Blocking or covering the vent will cause poor air circul ation, affecting cookin g and cleaning results. Do not set plast ics, paper or oth er items that could melt or burn near the oven vent.
18 Broiling Broilin g uses direct radiant he at to cook food. Changin g the temperature wh en Custom Broiling al lows more precise control when cooking. The lower the temperatu re, the slower the cooking. Thicker cut s and unevenly shaped piece s of meat, fish and poultry may cook better at lower broiling te mperatures.
19 ■ When roasting p oultry and meat, use t he roasting rack on the top of the b roiler pan a nd grid. It is not nece ssary to wait for the oven t o preheat, u nless recommended in the recipe.
20 CONVECT ION ROASTI NG CHART Hol d W arm F eature (on som e models) IMPORT ANT : Food must be at serving temperature before placing it in the warmed oven. Food may be held up to 1 h our; however , breads and casseroles may become too dry if left in t he oven during Hold Warm.
21 Style 2 - Electronic Oven Control To U s e : 1. Press WARM. 2. Set th e temperat ure (op tional). Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arrow pad to rais e or lower the tempera ture in 5°F (5°C) amounts to set a tempera ture other than 170°F ( 7 5°C).

Press t he TEMP “up” or “down” arr ow pads to enter a temperatu re other than the one displaye d. 3. Press COOK TIME. 4. Press the HR and MIN “up” or “down” arrow pads to en ter the desir ed length of time to cook.
23 T o Prog ram Steps 2, 3 a nd 4 of the Sequence : 1. Press ADD STEP . “SELECT COOK OP TION” will appear on the display . 2. Choose a desired cook function by pressing any cook function key . For example, BROIL. 3. Selec t a desired te mperature (option al).
24 RANGE CARE Self-Cleaning Cycle (on some models) IMPORT ANT : The health of s ome birds is extremely s ensiti ve to the fumes give n off during the Sel f-Cleaning cyc le. Expos ure to the fumes ma y result in death to certain birds. Always mo ve birds to another closed an d well-venti lated room.
25 Style 2 - Electronic Oven Control (on some models) The AUTO CLE AN self-clea ning cycl e is time ad justab le between 2 hours 3 0 minutes and 4 hours 30 minute s in 15- minute increments. Su ggested clea n times are 2 hours 30 minutes for light soi l, and 4 hours 30 minutes for heavy soi l.

OVEN DOOR EXTERI OR Cleaning Method: ■ Glass cleaner an d a soft cloth or sp onge: Apply glass cleaner to s oft cloth or sponge, not directly on panel.
28 Oven Door For normal range use, it is not suggested to r emove the oven door . However , if re moval is necessary , make sure the oven is off and cool. Then, follow t hese instructions . The oven door is heavy . T o Re move: 1. Open oven door all the way .
29 W armin g Drawer (on s ome mode ls ) Remove all items fr om inside the warming dra wer , and allow the range to cool complet ely before attempt ing to remove the drawer . T o Re move: 1. Open drawer to it s fully open position. 2. Locate the black t riangle-sh aped tabs on both si des of the drawer .
