11 OPERA TION The operation of any tractor can result in f oreign objects thrown into the e yes, which can result in severe e ye dam age . Always wear safety glass es or eye shields while op- erating your tractor or per for m ing any adjustments or repair s.
12 OPERA TION T O OPERA TE MO WER (See Fig. 6) Y our tractor is equipped with an operator presence sens ing s witch. Any attempt by the operator to lea ve the seat with the engine running and the attachment clutch engaged will shut off the engine. • Select desired height of cut.
13 OPERA TION MO WING TIPS • Tire chains cannot be used when the mow er hous ing is attached to tractor . • Mower should be properly le veled f or best mowing per- fo r mance. See “T O LEVEL MO WER HOUSING” in the Ser vice and Adjustments section of this manual.
