Check the assigned touch functions or reset them to their default conditions. 3. Attempt to move the scr een cursor by touching your finger in differ ent places on the display screen surface.
Contents Index Contents Index 23 23 CUSTOMIZING YOUR CINTIQ Y ou can customize your Cintiq and adjust input tool settings through th e W acom Control Panel. You can access the Wacom Control Panel from the task ba r on th e standard desktop, or from a tile on the Windows 8 Start screen.
Contents Index Contents Index 24 24 CONTR OL PANEL OVERVIEW Y ou can use the W acom Control Panel to customize your Cintiq and your pen. When you open the W acom Control Panel, an icon for the pen or other input tool is displayed in the T OOL list. The appropriate tabs are displayed.

The appropriate T ool Tip will pop up in a few moments. Y our keyboard tab and arr ow keys can also be used to navigate the control pan el.
Contents Index Contents Index 26 26 CALIBRATING THE CINTIQ For optimum performance, you must calibrate the Cintiq to align the scr een cursor with th e position of the pen on the screen. This is r equired to comp ensate for v iewing angle, and to adjust for parallax .

Double-click her e to change the functi on assigned to the pen tip. The tip must be set to C LICK in or der to draw in most graphics applications.

Tilt sensitivity deter mines how far you have to tilt the tool to pr oduce the maximum tilt ef fect. Y ou need to tilt the pen less at high sensitivity than at low sensitivity .

Each key or position can be customized to perform a modifier , keystr oke, or othe r function. The default ExpressKey and Rocker Ring settings are shown below .
