Installing the Battery T o install the Li-Ion ba ttery: 䊳 T o install, inser t the battery into the opening on the back of the phone and gently press down un til the latch snaps into place. Removing the Ba ttery W ARN ING: Do not handle a damaged or leaking Li-Ion battery as you can be burned.
Charging the Battery Y our phone ' s Li-Ion battery is r echargeable and should be charged as soon as possible so you can begin using y our phone.

Viewing History Yo u ' ll find the Call History fea ture very helpful. It is a list of the last 20 phone numbers (or Contacts entries ) for calls y ou placed, accepted, or missed.
Call History Options For additional inf ormation and options on a particular call, highlight a Call History entry and press . This feature displays the date and time of the call, the phone number (if av ailable), and the caller ' s name (if the number is already in your C ontacts).
Saving a Phone Number F rom Call History Y our phone can store up to 5 00 Con tacts entries. Contacts entries can store up to a total of fiv e phone numbers, and each entry ' s name can contain 16 char acters. T o sa ve a phone number from Call History: 1.
Prepending a Phone Number Fr om Call History If you need to mak e a call from Call History and y ou happen to be outside your local area c ode, you can add the appropriate prefix by prepending the number . T o pr epend a phone number from Call History : 1.

Adding a New C ontacts Entry Y our phone can store up to 5 00 Con tacts entries. Contacts entries can store up to a total of fiv e phone numbers, and each entry ' s name can contain 32 char acters. T o add a new entry : 1. Select Menu > Contacts > Add New Entry .
Finding C ontacts Entries There are se ver al wa ys to display your C ontacts entries: by name, by speed dial number , by group , and by voice dial tags. Follow the steps outlined in the sections below to displa y entries from the C ontacts menu. Finding Names T o find C ontac ts entries by name: 1.
Finding Speed Dial Numbers T o find phone numbers y ou have stored in speed dial locations: 1. Select Menu > Contacts > Speed Dial # ' s . 2. Scroll through speed dial en tries using your naviga tion key . Speed dial numbers are display ed in numeric order .
C ontacts Entry Options T o access a Contacts entry ' s options, highligh t the entry in the list and press Options ( ). T o select an option, highlight it and press . 䢇 Call to dial the selected number . 䢇 Send Picture to send picture. 䢇 Send Msg.
