9 English Turning the Projector On/Off Turning On the Projector 1 Remove the len s cap. 2 Ensure that the power co rd and signal cable ar e securely connected. The Power LED will ligh t red. 3 Turn on the proje ctor by pressing (POWER) on the control p anel or remote control, and the Power indicator LED will turn blue.
10 English Turning Off the Projector 1 To turn the projector off, press the power button. This message appears: "Please press the power button again to complete the shutdown process." Press the power button again. 2 The LED power indicato r will turn solid red to indicate sta ndby mode.
11 English Adjusting the Projected Image Adjusting the Height of the Projected Image The projector is equipped with an elevator foo t for adjusting the image height. To raise the i mage: 1 Press the elevator button. 2 Raise the image to the desired hei ght angle, then release the button to lock the elevator foot into position.
12 English How to Optimize Image Size and Distance Consult the table below to find the optimal im age sizes achievable when the projector is positioned at a desired distance from the screen.
13 English • S1310W/T220/XS-W10/S1310WHn/S1313W/S1313WHn If the projector is 4 m from the screen, good image quality is possible for image sizes around 379". Note: Remind as below figure, the space of 510 cm height is required when located at 2 m distance.

16 English User Controls Installation Menu The Installation menu provides an on screen display (OSD) for projector installation a nd ma inte nance. Use the OSD on ly when the message "No signal input" is disp layed on the screen. 1 Turn on the proje ctor by pressing (POWER) on the control p anel or remote control.
17 English Acer Empowering Technology Empowering Key Acer Empowering Key provides three Acer unique functions: "Acer eView Management", "Acer eTimer Management", and "Acer ePower Management". Press " " for more than one second to launch th e Onscreen Display main menu to modify its function.

19 English Color Display Mode There are many factory presets optimized for various types of images. • Bright: Fo r brightness optimizati on. • Presentation: For meeting presentation with higher brightness . • Standard: For common envir onment. • Video: For pla ying video i n a bright envi ronment.
20 English Note: "Saturation" and "Tint" functions are no t supported under comput er mode. Color Temperature Adjusts the color temperature. At higher color temperatures, the screen looks colder; at lower colo r temperatures, the screen looks warmer.
21 English Image Projection • Front-Desktop: The factory default setting. • Front-Ceiling: When you select this function , the projector inverts the image for ceiling-m ounted projection . • Rear-Desktop: When you select this function, the projector reverses the image so that you can project behind a translucent screen.
22 English Sharpness Adjusts the sharpness of the image. • Press to decrease the sharpness. • Press to increase the sharpness. H. Position (Horizontal Position) • Press to move the image left. • Press to move the image right. V. Position (Vertical Position) • Press to move the image down.

24 English Setting Menu Location Chooses the OSD menu locati on on the display screen. HDMI Color Range (S1210Hn/ S1213Hn/ T212DT/XS- X13HG/ S1310WHn/ S1313WHn) Adjusts the color range of the HDMI image data to prevent color display error. • Auto: Automatically adjusts the color range by information from the player.
25 English Security Security This projector provides a usef ul sec urity function for the administrator to manage the projector. Press to change the "Security" setting. If the security function is enabled, your must enter "Administrator Password" first before changing the security setting.
26 English Administrator Password You can enter "Administrator Password" when the "Enter Administrator Password" or "Enter Password" dialogue box displays. • Press to change "Administrator Password". • The factory default of "Administrator Password" is "1234".
27 English LAN Setting (for S1210Hn/ S1213Hn/ T212DT/XS- X13HG/ S1310WHn/ S1313WHn) To connect your projector to the network: 1 Take a RJ45 cable and conn ect one end to the LAN input jack of the projector and the oth er end to the RJ45 port. 2 Enter the LAN Setting menu.

29 English Management ECO Mode Choose "On" to dim the pro jector lamp, which will also lower the power consum ption, reduce noise, and extend the lamp life. Choose "Off" to return to the normal mode. High Altitude Choose "On" to turn on th e High Altitude mod e.

35 English Replacing the Lamp Use a screwdriver to remove the screw(s) from the cover, and then pull out the lamp. The projector will detect the lamp life itself. It will show you a warning message "Lamp is approach ing the end of its useful life in full powe r operation.
36 English Ceiling Mount Installation If you wish to install the projector using a ce iling mount, please refer to the steps below: 1 Drill four holes into a solid, structurally sound part of the ceiling, and secure the mount base. Note: Screws are not included.
37 English 3 Use the appropriate number of screws for the projector size to attach the projector to the ceiling mount bracket. Note: It is recommended that you keep a reasonable space between the bracket and the projector to allow fo r proper heat distribution.
