The m ain cam era is controlled b y the system ’ s infra -red remote c ontrol and operates pan/tilt, f ocus and zoom .

3 General Use Wake up the system W hen the system is not in use, it is i n standb y mode and the s creen is black . W ake up the system by picking up the remote control. An incom ing call or pres sing any ke y on the remote contro l will also wak e up the system.

Use the arro w ke ys and OK to navigate the m enu. The s ystem ’ s most comm only used functi ons are also ac cessible direc tly from the remote control.

General Use 25 3.2.7 Touch Tones If wanting to dial extension num bers during a c all, press the T ouch tones button to activate the number ke ys, otherwise the num ber k eys will activate the cor responding cam era p resets. An indicator will tel l that Touch tones are enab led.

General Use 37 Streaming Source* Auto: Enables str eaming of both local and far e nd video. Selection of which site to b e stream ed is done using voice switching (the site that speak s is str eamed). Local: Onl y the local video wil l be stream ed.

General Use 41 3.8.1 Delay Standby for 1 hour Delay Standb y for 1 hour postpon es the s y stem from entering standby mode f or 1 hour. This func tion is useful when using th e monitors f or a local pres entation to pre vent the s y stem from autom atically blanking the monitors.

The lists cont ain a max imum of 30 numbers and the num bers are stored in these l ists until the s ystem is res tarted.

If the total band width exceeds the systems maximum bandwidth, the s ystem will downspeed an d distribute the a vailable band width equall y for all the partici pants.

W hen a search in the Glob al Phone Book is made, by using the Sear ch function, only contacts matc hing the search text are disp layed.

General Use 59 3.10.1 Move Camera It is possible to m ove the cam era with the rem ote contr ol or via the m enu. Movin g the camera directl y with the remot e control W hen the menu is hidden, t he arrow ke ys will work on t he cam era. If the menu is d isplayed, pres s the Cancel button on the rem ote control to hide it.

General Use 61 3.10.3 Camera Presets Use cam era presets to easil y vary between predef ined near end c amera ang les. This is usef ul when pictures f rom m any different cam era angles have to b e sent to the f ar end. E.g. in a meeting there is a white boar d, a PC and a sm all m eeting table.
