17 System Utilities The manufacturer or the d ealer already configures mo st systems. There is no need to run Setup when st arting th e computer unless you get a Run Setup message. The Setup program loads configuration va lues into the battery-backed nonvolatile memory called CMOS RAM.
18 Setup Utility Menus Power on the computer and the system will start POST (Power On Self T est) process. When the message of “Press DEL to enter SETUP” appears on the screen, press the key of [Delete] to enter the setup menu.
