If you have followed all of the procedures below and still need assistance, refer to the ‘T echnical Support Procedures’ and/or ‘Returning Merchandise for Service’ section(s) in this chapter .

Chapter 5: AMI BIOS 5-1 Chapter 5 BIOS 5-1 Introduction This chapter describes the AMI BIOS Setup Utility for the X8DTU-LN4F+. The AMI ROM BIOS is stored in a Flash EEPROM and can be easily updated. This chapter describes the basic navigation of the AMI BIOS Setup Utility setup screens.
5-2 X8DTU-LN4F+ Motherboard User ’ s Manual Starting the Setup Utility Normally , the only visible Power-On Self-T est (POST) routine is the memory test. As the memory is being tested, press the <Delete> key to enter the main menu of the AMI BIOS Setup Utility .
Chapter 5: AMI BIOS 5-3 System Overview: The following BIOS information will be displayed: System Time/System Date Use this option to change the system time and date. Highlight System Time or Sys- tem Date using the arrow keys. Key in new values through the keyboard and press <Enter>.
