Caution: Initializing a disk will overwrite the partition table on the disk, making any data on the disk inaccessible. If the drive is used in an array , you may not be able to use the array again.

When all the drives to be initialized are selected, press <Enter>, and a warning message will display as shown below: 6. Make sure that you have selected the correct disk drives to initialize.

4-1 Chapter 4: T roubleshooting Chapter 4 T roubleshooting 1. Problem: The AOC-LPZCR1/AOC-SOZCR1 BIOS does not show up in POST . Recommended Solutions: • Make sure that the system has enough expansion ROM to initialize the card. Remove other add-in cards if possible.

Recommended Solutions: • Make sure that there is power supply to the hard drives. • Check the SAS, SA T A or SCSI cable to make sure that there are no loose con- nections between the card and the hard drives.
