4 620-7920 Rev A Step 3. Remove the side box. Step 4. Lay all boxes on the floor and verify th at all component s are included (see n ext page for details). Step 2. Remove the top cover. Step 1. Lay the unit in the area where it is going to be assembled a nd remove the straps.

6 620-7920 Rev A Step 9. Verify the fo llowing tools are included in the hardware kit : Step 10. Verify ha rdware included in the hardware kit: Step 12. W ith a h elper, lift the treadmill f rame assembly from the shipping crate platform a nd place it in the location where it will be used.
7 620-7920 Rev A Step 3. Position neck close to the service op ening in the f ront of treadmill so the cables go into the opening f irst. Step 4. Route all cables f rom neck into moto r compart- ment th rough lower neck service openin g. Caution: Make sure not to pinch any cables .
8 620-7920 Rev A Step 6. Align th e front h oles and fa sten with (2 ) 5/16-18 x 3.0”, (2) 5/16 washers an d (2) lock washers. DO NOT fully tighten yet. Step 5. Insert neck into p lace, then align the top holes. Using th e 1/4” Hex key, fasten the neck to the frame w ith (2) 5/16-18 x 1.
9 620-7920 Rev A Step 10. Now inst all t he top d isplay rail. A lign th e r ail’s mounting hole s with the neck holes. Note: If the electroni c display console was assem bled to the rail; remove the screws holding it to the rail and store the display f or later use.
10 620-7920 Rev A Step 15. Now tighte n the 2 front n eck scre ws (5 /16-18 x 3.0” so cket head) to a torque value of 200 in- lbs (22.5 Nm ). Step 14. Make sure the gap between the rails is c losed and, using the 5 /32” Hex key, fast en the (2) #10 button head socket screws.
11 620-7920 Rev A Step 17. Now tighten the 4 display rail fasteners (where neck is joined with displa y rail) to a torque value of 200 in -lbs (22.5 Nm). Step 18. Tighten hand rail fa steners where handrails are joined with trea dmill frame. Tighten the screw s to a torque value of 200 in-lbs (22.
12 620-7920 Rev A Step 22. Secure the f ront of the m otor shroud w ith (2 ) #10 Trus s head screws. Step 23. Now secure the sid es of the motor shroud and the bed covers to the f rame wi th (4) #10 T russ head screws. Step 24. Snap the front motor shroud cap in place, then slide and in stall the neck grommet o ver the cap.
13 620-7920 Rev A Step 27. Secure the power cable to the frame with the tie -strap and cut e xcess strap. Caution : Make sure not to damage the power cord . Step 25. Install left and right han drail gromm ets. Slide the grommet down the rail and snap it in place over the bed rails covers.

Note: If y ou are insta lling a n iPod® Kit, a MYE Enterta in- ment ki t or a Pers onal V iewing Sc reen kit along with this display, it is recomm ended that you insta ll the kit ’s center console bef ore you mo unt the display onto the fram e.
15 620-7920 Rev A Step 5. Connect the E-Stop cable (g) to J25 connector on the display board , then conne ct the rail stop cable (f) to J5 connector on the display board. . Step 6. Connect the Hot Bar cable (i) to J15 connector on the displa y board. Step 7.
16 620-7920 Rev A Step 9. Connect the main I/O cab le (e) to J1 conne ctor on the displa y board. Step 10. Mount t he display a ssembly to t he frame a nd note the screw loca tions (see figure above). Secure top a ssembly with (4) M4 screws a nd (4) flat 5/16 washers.
17 620-7920 Rev A Step 13. Install the top back cover piece (p/n 020 -7074) onto the upper display back cov er (p/n 020- 7069 ). Step 14. Install the lower display back cover onto dis- play us ing (6) M4 screws. Ne xt insta ll upper display ba ck cover onto display with (8 ) of the same screws, tighte n all screws.

Contact heart rate E-Stop Step 14. plug and secure the co ax cable (h) into the coax adapter on the tuner card of the embed- ded display ass embly.
23 620-7920 Rev A Step 16. Connect the I/O interface cab le (e) to J1 conne c- tor on the translator board located on the top of the embedded display. If Equipped , con nect th e user-detect cable from the neck to J 5 connector on the trans lator board.

Loose n the lock nuts, rotate the feet until the treadmill is stab ilized, and retighte n the lock nuts.

Remove the headphone jack blank co ver. Note: You w ill no longer need the cover and it can be stored away for any possibl e future use.

35 620-7920 Rev A Step 10. Connect the headphone cable coming from Hot Bar rail to the headphone connector on the MYE® cente r console. Step 9. Install the n ew MYE® entertainment console in place. Don’t sec ure console with screws yet. Step 11. Plug the center console’s ke ypad cable into J7 connector on the display board.

40 620-7920 Rev A Step 5. Connect the coax cable coming the treadmill neck to the coax cab le com ing f rom t he PVS neck, secure tightly. Now take the 5” silicon wrap f rom the kit and peel off its protective tape t hen wrap the two connectors so that all of the metal surface is covered.

Remove the headphone jack blank co ver. Note: You will no longer need the cover, and if de- sired, it can be stored away for any possible future use.
42 620-7920 Rev A Step 13. Select the E-TRx headphone mount from the kit and atta ch it to the availab le cut-out at the lower front of the hot b ar, then secure with previously retained scre w. Step 14. Take t he E-TR headphone jack assembly f rom the kit and install it o nto the back of the center console mou nt, then secure with (1) M4 screw.
43 620-7920 Rev A Step 17. Plug the center console’s 7-pin interface cable into J11 conn ector on the display board . Step 19. Plug the center con sole’s grou nd cab le into the ground cable tab on the back display bracket.

After having used your ST AR TRAC E SERIES TREADMILL for many workouts, you may wish to change some of its settings. MANAGER MODE The Manager Mode allows you to query and modify the basic settings of your treadmill. T o enter Manager Mode: 1. Press and hold the , , and keys together .
* When the MINIMUM SPEED or MAXIMUM SPEED parameters are changed, the T readmill will perform an auto calibration. T o termi- nate the auto calibration and return the parameter to it s default setting, press the S TOP key .
Enter Key : Updates (saves) the value of the displayed parameter in Flash memory . Alternatively , the key may be used (see above). Number/Program Select Keys: Enter new data item values for numeric parameters. Stop Key : Exit s Maintenance Settings Mode and restart s the treadmill greeting.
* When the MINIMUM SPEED or MAXIMUM SPEED parameters are changed, the T readmill will perform an auto calibration. T o termi- nate the auto calibration and return the parameter to it s default setting, press the S TOP key . MOTOR CALIBRATION The Motor Calibration function allows for calibration of the treadmill's speed function.
ELEVATION CALIBRATION The Elevation Calibration function allows for calibration of the treadmill's elevation function. T o enter the Elevation Calibration function: 1. While in the Maintenance Mode, navigate to the Elevation Calibration by the next or the previous p arameter buttons.
