S PECTRA S ERIES 7 P AR T 2: INSTALLATION 2.1 LOCA TION AND MOUNTING Before mounting the ca binet, push the five white nylon mounting stu ds into the back of the cabinet. Pull all cables into the cabinet and prepare them for connection before mounting the circuit board into the back of the cabinet.

10 R EFERENCE & I NS TALLATION M ANUAL 2.6 T ELEPHONE LINE CONNECTION In order to report system event s to the central station, you must conne ct the incoming teleph one comp any wires into the TIP and RING connections of th e control p anel and then run th e wires from T1 and R1 to the telep hone or telephone sys tem as shown in Fig ure 2.
S PECTRA S ERIES 11 2.9 SINGLE ZONE INPUTS Detection devices such as motion detectors and door cont acts are connected to the control p anel's zone input terminals. Figure 2.5 on p age 1 1 demonstrates single zone input terminal connectio ns recognized by Spectra.
