Basic Operations 26 SP STOP APC SP APC START SP APC START Recor ding TV programmes using the Easy Timer function The Easy T imer function allows you to make a timer recor ding of a programme without turning on your TV . Set the recor ding timer to recor d only one programme that will be br oadcast within the next 24 hours using the EASY TIMER knob.

Additional Operations 41 Sear ching the beginning of an Easy Timer recor ded pr ogramme If you recor d a programme using the Easy T imer function, you can easily find the beginning of the recor ding with this SEARCH function. The SEARCH indicator flashes when the VCR finishes the Easy T imer recor ding.
Additional Operations 42 Sear ching using the index function The VCR marks the tape with an index signal at the point where each r ecording begins. Use these signals as refer ences to find a specific recor ding. The VCR can search up to 99 index signals ahead of or behind the current position.
