The following will explain the func tio n of some o f the buttons found on your remote con trol. Buttons for Projection TV Operations 1 TV (FUNCTION) Activates the remote control f or use with the projection TV.
Using the Fe atures 38 q; SLEEP Press repeatedly until th e proj ection TV di sp lays the approximate time in minutes ( 15, 30, 45, 60, o r 90 ) t hat yo u w ant the p roj ecti on TV to remain o n before shutting off autom atically . Cancel by pressing SLEE P until “ SLEE P OF F ” appears or turnin g the powe r off.
Using th e Features 39 Usi ng th e Featu res W atching the Digital TV When you have connected the DTV receiver, you can enjoy digital TV programs . This projection TV is capable of receiving the 1080i, 720p , 480p and 480i digital TV for mats. T o view a d igital TV progra m 1 Connect the DTV receiv er to VIDEO 5 or 6 IN on the pr ojection TV.
Using the Fe atures 40 Using Fa v orite Channels The Favorite Channel feature lets you select pr ogr ams from a lis t of fav orite channels that you p reset. T o display a list of y our favo rite channels: 1 Press FA V O R I T E S . The Favorite Chan nel options appear.
Using th e Features 41 Usi ng th e Featu res Using T wi n View ™ Twin View enables you to watch two programs at the same time. You can also change the size of both the left and right pictures. Using the Fe atures 42 ✍ When viewing an enhanced 16:9 picture, th e aspect ratio changes to 4:3 in Twin View. The picture will be reformatted to that aspect ratio. ✍ If viewing a 720p or 1080i format input source, the aspect ratio will maintain the ori ginal 16:9 aspect ratio.
Using th e Features 43 Usi ng th e Featu res Changing the Picture Size The zoom feature lets y ou change the size of the left an d right pictures. T o enlarge the left picture (reduc e the right) 1 Move the joystick left to activate the left pict ur e (i f n ot already activated).
Using the Fe atures 44 Using the Freeze Function The FREEZE button allows you to temporarily capture a program ’ s picture . You can use this feature to write down information su ch as phone numbers, recipes, etc. T o use the Freeze function 1 When the program inform atio n you want to capture is displayed, press FREEZE .

Using the M enus 54 Using the P arent Menu The Parent menu allows you to set up the TV to block pro grams according to their content and rati ng level s. These ratings are ass i gned by a federal rating board. Not all programs are rated. Us i ng the Parental Lock blocks programs wi th a specific rating, but it does not block an entire channel.
