4 Notes on using your c amera T ype s of “Memo r y Stick ” that ca n be used (not su pplie d) The IC recor ding m edium used by th is camera is a “Memor y Sti ck Duo”. T here a re two types o f “Mem ory Stick” . “Memo ry Stick Duo”: yo u can use a “Memo ry Stick Du o” with yo ur camera.
5 • Do not use t he camera near a location that generates strong radio wav es or emits radiation. The camera may not be able to record or play back properly . • Using the camera in sandy or dusty locations may cause malfunctio ns. • If moistur e condensation occurs , remove it before using the camera (page 122).

12 Y ou can create various imag es by a djusting the expo sure and the IS O sensi tivity . Exposur e is the amoun t of ligh t that the ca mera wil l receive when you re lease the shut ter .

23 Enjoyin g the came ra Movies T ouch the screen t o start playback. Slide your finger to the right or left during playback to fast-forward or r ev erse the movie. T ouch again during playback to pause. . • When viewing images taken in Mul ti Burst mode, touch the screen to pause the display .

25 Enjoyin g the came ra When yo u do not ha ve a “Memory Stick Duo” (Recor ding with th e intern al memo r y) The ca mera ha s 26 MB of inter nal memory . This memor y is n ot re mov able. Eve n when there is no “Mem ory Stick Duo” inserted in the camera, you can record images using th is interna l memory .
26 W e recom mend tha t you copy (bac k up) data wit hout fail using on e of the fo llowing methods. T o copy (b ack up) d ata on a “Memo ry S tick Du o” Prepar e a “Memor y Stick D uo” wit h a capaci ty of 32 MB or more, then perfo rm the pr ocedu re explained in [ Copy] (p age 67) .

78 4 Click the radio button next to [Y es, I want to restart my computer now] to select it, then click [Fin ish] . Y our comput er restart s. Now , you ca n establis h a USB conn ection. Remo ve the CD-R OM when th e installati o n is comple ted. 1 Insert a “Mem ory Stick Duo” with recorded images into the cam era.
79 Using y our com puter • Set the switch on the supplied cabl e for multi-use t erminal to “CAMERA”. • W ith Wi ndows XP , the AutoPlay wizard appears on the desktop.
