34 Shootin g in the da rk (Night Shot) (DSC- H9 only) The Night Shot function lets you shoo t subjects in the dark pla ces without usi ng the flash suc h as cam p scene s at n ight or noct urnal p lants a nd anima ls. Note th at imag es reco rded u sing th e Night Shot function will become greenish.
35 Bas ic Oper ati ons Using the whee l di al The whee l dial is used to change the set ting v alues when sh ooting with the ma nual ad justmen t modes (shutte r speed priorit y mode, apertu re priorit y mode, manua l exposure mod e), ISO sen sitivity adju stm ent, the f ocus met hod adju stme nt o r the EV adj ustm ent .

38 Shooti ng wi th manu al adjus tment • If the shutter speed is set at 1/3 second or slower , the NR slow shutter function acti vates automatically to reduce the picture noise and appears.
