9 1 Preparing the bat tery pack 1 Inser t the battery pack into the battery charger . 2 Connect the batter y char g er to the wall outlet (wall socket). The CHARGE lamp lights on, and charging starts. When the CHARGE lamp turns off , charging is f inished (Practi cal charge).

Movie: Select . 2 Hold the camera steadily , keeping y our arms at yo ur side. 3 Shoot w ith the shutter button. When shooting images duri ng displayed on the screen, those mini mized copi es of the original images c an be sa ved i n the Album.
14 [ Using the zoom Press the zoom b utton. • When the zoom scale exceeds 3×, the camera uses the Digital Zoom function. • Y o u cannot change the zoom scale while shooting a movie. T o selec t the fo llowing func tions, pres s the (on-scree n key).
15 [ Selecti ng the still image shooting m ode T ouc h on the screen. T ouch the desired item, t hen . Auto: Allows easy shooting with the settings adjusted automatically. Progra m: Allows you to shoot with the exposure adjusted automatically (both the shutter speed and the apertur e value).
