7 BD/DVD region code Your playe r has a regio n code printe d on the back of the unit and only will p lay BD-ROM/DVD VIDEOs (pla yback only) labelled with ident ical region codes. This system is u sed to prot ect copy rights. DVD VIDEOs labelled will also play on this player.
8 AVCHD format disc playback The playe r supports AVCHD format files– high definit ion record ings made on AVCHD-compat ible camcorder s. Your high definition persona l archive is re adily playable in HD quality.

16 Step 4: Conn ecting the Mains Lead After all of th e othe r connecti ons ar e complete, connect the supplied ma ins lead to th e AC IN terminal of the pla yer. Then plug th e player and TV mains lead (power cords) into the ma ins. Step 5: P repar ing the Remote You can co ntrol the pla yer using t he supplied remote.

Clarifying Low Volume Sounds ( Audio DRC) Even at low vol ume, you can make lo w sounds such as dial ogues more audib le.
28 Adjusting the Pictures The “cin ema tuned ” pictu re preset setting will allow you to maximize the visual impact of th e BD or DVD you a r e watch ing by opt imizing th e picture sett ings for dif ferent li ghting envir onments. “ Memory” a llows you t o make yo ur own d etailed adjustments.
