AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a A ccessin g the pr oduct Access from the Internet Once connected, the Axis product is accessible on your local net work (LAN). To access the product from the Internet you must con fi gure your network router to allow incoming data traf fi c to the product.
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a A ccessin g the pr oduct Note • The default administrator user name root is permanent and cannot be deleted. • If the password for root is lost, the product must be reset to the factory default settings. See Reset to factory default settings, on page 46 .
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a A ccessin g the pr oduct Activate the product’s fan with this button. Enable this button from Live View Con fi g > Action Buttons. The Fan button is activated automatically. Pres s this button to activate it manually.

Click Setup in the top right-hand corner of t h eL i v eV i e wp a g e . • Administrators have unrestricted a ccess to all settings.

AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Image Appearance Increasing the Color level increases the color saturation. The value 100 gives maximum color saturation. The value 0 gives a black and white image. The image Brightness can be adjusted in the range 0–100, where a higher value produces a brighter image.
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Noise reduction - Set to On to enable noise reduction. Noise reduction may increase the amount of motion blur. Stabilizer - When monitoring environments that are subject to vibrations (e.g. traf fi c control), images may appear to be unsteady.
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Full duplex - Simultaneous two-way audio allowing you to transmit and receive audio (talk and listen) at the same time. There is no echo cancellation; if feedback loops appear , try moving the microphone or the speaker.
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Video and A udio Bit rate - Set the required bit rate depending on the selected encoding. A higher bit rate will give better audio quality. A lower bit rate may have latency or delay, but will require less bandwidth.

AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Ev e n t s Events The Axis product can be con fi gured to perform actions when different events occur, for example, start a recording wh en motion is detected. The set of conditions that de fi nes how and when the action is triggered is called an Action Rule .
AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a Ev e n t s - Use Schedule — trigger the rule according to the selected schedule, see Schedules, on page 33 . Available actions include: • Day/Night Vision Mode —s e td a ym o d e( I Rc u t fi lter on) or night mode (IR cut fi lter off).

AXIS P5532 PTZ Dome Netw ork Camer a System Options System Options Security Users User access control is enabled by default and can be con fi gured under System Options > Security > Users . An administrator can set up other users by givi ng them user names and passw ords.
