AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Access the Product To prevent network eavesdropping, the root password can be set via an encrypted HTTPS connection, which requires an HTTPS certicate. HTTPS (Hypertext Transfer Protocol over SSL) is a protocol used to encrypt trafc between web browsers and servers.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Access the Product The Manual T rigger button is used to trigger an action rule from the Live View page. For information about how to congure and enable the button, see Manual T rigger on page 1 1 . Click Snapshot to save a snapshot of the video image.

AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Set Up the Pr oduct Set Up the Pr oduct The Axis product can be congured by users with administrator or operator rights. To open the product’s Setup pages, click Setup in the top right-hand corner of the Live View page.

AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio • Compression . The compression level affects the image quality , bandwidth and le size of saved images; the lower the compression, the higher the image quality with higher bandwidth requirements and larger le sizes.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio Stream Proles A stream prole is a set of predened stream settings including resolution, compression, frame rate and overlay settings. Stream proles can be used: • When setting up recording using action rules.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio Exposure control - This setting is used to adapt to the amount of light used. Automatic is the default setting and can be used in most situations. The shutter speed is automatically set to produce optimum image quality .
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio If using automatic Exposure control , set the IR cut lter to Auto to automatically switch between On and Off according to the lighting conditions.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio 2. T o include an overlay image, select Include overlay image at the coordinates . The overlay image must rst be uploaded to the Axis product, see Overlay Image . 3. T o include date and time, select Include date and Include time .
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio 3. T o control the image’s position, enter the X and Y coordinates. The X=0 and Y=0 position is the top left corner . If a part of the image is positioned outside the video image, the overlay image will be moved so that the whole image is visible.

Congure the audio input settings under Video & Audio > Audio Settings . Note The internal microphone is used by default; the external microphone is used when connected.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Video and Audio Audio Output An external speaker can be connected to the Audio-out connector (a built-in amplier is required for this). The output can be connected to another amplier with speakers. A stereo connector must be used for the audio out.

Changing the orientation of the camera will also change the position of the Motion Detection Window .
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Detectors Note • To trigger on small objects or movements, use several small motion detection windows rather than one large window and select a low object size. • To avoid triggering on small objects, select a high object size.
AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Applications Applications Third party applications can be uploaded to and installed on the Axis product. Applications add functionality to the product, for example video analytics and intelligent video capabilities such as recognition, tracking, detection and counting.

AXIS P3365-VE Fixed Dome Network Camera Events Events The Event pages allow you to congure the Axis product to perform actions when different events occur . For example, the product can start a recording or send an email notication when motion is detected.

Bonjour is enabled by default and the product is automatically detected by operating systems and clients that support this protocol. Bonjour can be disabled under System Options > Network > Bonjour .

Any data stored on the card will be lost when the card is inserted into the Axis product. An SD card inserted into the product can be manually formatted to one of the supported le systems.
