The feedback sig nal will be co mpared with the compass sig nal and when there is a balan ce betwe en the two, the sole noid will be de- energ ised.

The sponge produces a corrosion prevent ive gas, and to increas e the efficiency of the ga s the cover must be kept ti ght.
