8 ON/STOP SWITCH The ON/ST OP SWITC H is used to stop the engine. THROTTLE TRIGGER The THROTT LE TRIGGER controls en- gine speed. THROTTLE LOCK - - OUT The THROTTLE LOCK - - OUT must be pressed before you can squeeze the throttle tr igger . This feature prevents you from accidentally squeezing the trigger .
9 Never use engine or carburetor clean- er products in the fuel tank or perma- nent damage may occur . See the ST ORAGE section for addition- al information. CHAIN BRAKE Ensure chain brake is disengaged by pulling the front hand guard back to- ward t he front handle as far as pos- sible.

15 1. Use the screwdriver end of the chain adjustment tool (bar tool) to move chain around guide bar to ensure kinks do not exist. The chain should rotate freely .
