D 11 5.4 Prefetch/multi-segmented cache control The drive provides a prefetch (read look-ahe ad) and mu lti-segmen ted cache control algorithms tha t in many cases can enhance system performance. Cache refers to the drive buf fer storage space when it is u sed in cache operations.
