Be sure to observe the followi ng points carefully wh en operating, setti ng-up, or servicing the digital video recorder. Do not subject the digital vid eo recorder to sudden impact or vibration.

Normall y in an open condition, a terminal adopts a low conditi on when a sensor for the corres ponding camera number has been triggered.

This area indicates the date, time, picture qua lity and o ther information ne eded for operation.

The clock display jumps fo rward one hour from 3 April, 2005, 01:59 to 03:00. The clock display jumps back one hour from 30 October, 2005, 01:59 to 01:00.

RECORDING AREA SET ( J P.77) Displays the total capa city of the hard disk and sets the ratio of the recording area to the archive area.

The cursor moves to “TIMER RECOR DING (DLY)”. 7 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise. “OFF” flashes. 8 To activate timer operation, turn the jog dial to select “ON” and then turn the shuttle dial clockwise.

RECORD SET 2 English 79 7 Turn the shuttle dial clockwise. After the hard disk is initi alized, the <RECORD SET> screen appears and the new recording capac ity setting is applied . 8 Press the [EXIT/OSD] button. The setting is completed and t he display returns to the normal screen.
