7 6 Radio frequency exposure information In August 1996, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of the U.S. adopted an updated safety standard for human exposure to radio frequency electromagnetic energy emitted by FCC regulated transmitters. The design of this phone complies with the FCC guidelines and these international standards.

The call time (length of call) displays with the name (if saved in Phonebook) and number of the call party . If the number is not stored in your Phonebook, your phone prompts you to save the number .

Adjusting the V olume During a call, if you want to adjust the earpiece volume, use the volume keys on the left side of the phone. Press to increase and to decrease the volume. The illustration shows you the volume level. The more bars you see, the louder the volume is.
