12 Setting up your wir eless rec eiver Listening to music thr oughout your home Rocketboost technology can conn ect all of the audio devices throughout your home to form a wireless home audio n etwork. Rocketboost products include “ sende rs, ” which send audio streams, and “r eceivers, ” which receive the audio .
13 RF-RBREC Rocketboost is expandable. Each Rocketboost wireless rece iver can select the audio from any w ireless sender in your Rocketboos t audio network.
14 - Do not use the supplied AC adapter for other equipment. Tip s : - Slide the cable spool (pro vided) into the sl ots on the back of the r eceiver from the top down. - Before connect ing to the AC pow er outlet, wrap the excessive c able around the spool.
15 RF-RBREC 2 Aim the remote control at the IR sensor on the front of the wireless receiver fr om a maximum distance of 23 f t. (7 m) away and a maximum angle of +/- 3 0 degrees fr om the center line. T o replace the batter y: 1 Press the battery tray lock to the righ t, then slide out the batter y tray .

17 RF-RBREC Establishing communica tion Rocketboost produc ts form an audio network and each R ocketboost wireless rec eiver can select the audio from any Roc ketboost wireless sender in the network. Important Ever y Rocketboos t network must contain o ne hub device, which helps devices join the network.
18 Note : Rocketboost devices have t heir own memory. After the de vices are paired once , they will remember each other and pair auto matically when they are pow ered on again. Because of t his, you can pair all of y our net work components in the same room before installing them in their perma nent locations throughout the house .
19 RF-RBREC C ontrolling the stream v olume Rocketboost syst ems have a specia l mode wher e you can change the volume of th e audio stream sent by a wir eless sender . Then the volume lev e l at each wireless r ece iver that is receiving that audio stream will change automa tically .
20 Muting all devices Rocketboost also features a global mute feature that instantly silences all audio streams in the network. T o mute all devices in the network: 1 Pr ess ALL (mute) on th e remo te cont rol. All a udio stream s in you r ne twor k are muted.
