14 15 OPERA TION DR Y -FIRE LOCKOUT When the magazine is almost empty of nails, the dry-fire lockout feature will not allow continued operation. T o resume operation, r eload the tool with nails. SETTING THE AIR PRESSURE The amount of air pressur e requir ed will depend on the size of the nail and the workpiece material.
16 17 OPERA TION CLEARING A JAMMED F ASTENER See Figure 10. WARNING: Disconnect the tool fr om the air supply before clearing a jammed fastener . Failure to do so could result in serious personal injury . If a nail or fastener becomes jammed in the tool, disconnect the air hose and keep the tool pointed away fr om you while clearing the jam.
16 17 MAINTENANCE LUBRICA TION �The cylinder , o-ring, and pist on ring in this tool are lubricated with a suf ficient amount of high grade lubricant for the life of the unit under normal operating conditions. Ther efore, no further lubrication is requir ed.
