5 Section 3 User Interface Specifications This user syst em interface board has the function that masks the chip select si gnals (CS0, CS3, and CS7), bus reques t signal (BR EQ), and wait i nput signal (WAIT) depending on the se tting of a switch.

7 Section 4 Connection Procedures 4.1 Connecting User System Int erface Board to User System W ARNING Always switch OFF the user syst em and the emulator product before the USER SYSTEM INTERFACE BOARD is connect ed to or removed from any part. B efore connect ing, make sure that pin 1 on both sides are correct ly aligned.
8 4.1.2 Installing Ca ble Head CA UTION Check the location of pin 1 before inserting. Align pin 1 on the IC socket for a PTQP 0100KA-A (former code: TFP -100BV) package on the user system with pin 1 on the us er system inte rface board, and ins ert the user system interface board into the IC socket on the user system, as shown in figure 4.

21 Section 6 Verifying Operation 1. Turn on the emulator according to the pro cedures described in the SH -2A, SH-2 E200F Emulator User' s Manual (R0E0200F1EMU 00E or R0E570800EMU00E). 2. The emulator connected to this user syst em interface board supports three kinds of clock sources as t he MCU clock.
