10 Installation ˆ Installation MOUNTING THE PHONE You can place the phone’s base on a desk or table, or mount it on a standard wall plate or directly on a wall.
11 Installation On a Desk T op 1. Insert the bracket’s tabs into the base’s upper tab slots, then press down on th e bracket’s clips and insert them into the clip slots. 2. T o connect the phone to a tw o-line phone jack , plug one end o f the supplied long two-line modular cord into the TEL LINE 1/2 jack on the back of the phone.

25 Caller ID Operation (Handset Only) ADDING/DELETING THE AREA CODE When the area code of the received call is the same as the one you stored (see “Storing Your Area Code” on Page 15), the caller ID record does not show the area code. If it is different, the record shows the area code.
