~ 12 ~ Click o n Custom Lev el Pic 4 On “Reset to ” pull do wn menu, select “L OW” the n click on “RESE T” button. Click ‘ Yes’ when a sked: ‘ Are you sur e you wa nt to chang e the setting fo r this zone? ’ Click O K. Clic k Apply.
~ 13 ~ To connect to the DVR from the rem ote computer you would then ope n an Int ernet Expl orer b rows er window and enter the internet IP of your ro uter that you got by going to www.myipaddress.com (you h a ve to do this fro m a PC that connect to same Route r as your DVR).

~ 15 ~ d. The next screen will ask you to create a domain name. Domain names must start with an (a - z ) or ( 0 - 9) and ca nnot contain a hyphen. Once you choose your domain name, click on the [Request Domain] button. This will gene rate a confirmation screen which tells you if your Domain nam e is available and list an IP address (Fig 2 ).
