7- ENG D26221 5. Assemble grommet kit and quick-connect nozzles as described in instructions supplied . 6. Add engine oil (supplied) to engine. Refer to engine manual supplied by engine manufacturer for corr ect procedure. NOTE: There will be a slight amount of oil in the engine fr om factory testing.

Choke Control: Opens and closes carbur etor choke valve Throttle Contr ol Lever: Controls engine speed. PRESSURE WASHER High Pressur e Pump : Increases the pressur e of the water supply .
9- ENG D26221 PRESSURE WASHER TERMINOLOGY NOTE: Become familiar with this terminology before operating. PSI: Pounds per Square Inch. The unit of measur e for water pressure. Also used for air pressur e, hydraulic pressure, etc. GPM: Gallons Per Minute.
10- ENG D26221 TO USE WAND Y our pressur e washer is equipped with five spray nozzles. Each nozzle is color coded and delivers a specific spray pattern for a particular cleaning purpose. The size of the nozzle determines the size of the fan spray and the pressur e out of the nozzle.
11- ENG D26221 TO SIPHON CHEMICALS/CLEANING SOL VENTS Siphoning chemicals or cleaning solvents is a low pressur e operation. NOTE: Use only soaps and chemicals designed for pressur e washer use. Do not use bleach. 1. Press chemical hose onto barbed fitting located near high pressur e hose connection of pump as shown.
12- ENG D26221 ST ARTING Prior to starting, refer to your engine manual for pr oper starting procedures for your engine type. 1. In a well ventilated outdoor area Add fr esh high quality unleaded gasoline with a pump octane rating of 86 or higher . Do not overfill.
13- ENG D26221 How T o Change Pump Oil 1. Loosen oil fill cap. 2. Place a container under the oil drain plug. 3. Remove oil drain plug. 4. After oil is drained replace oil drain plug. Tighten securely . 5. Remove oil fill cap and fill with 30W non detergent oil.
14- ENG D26221 HOW TO CLEAN THE WA TER INLET FIL TER This screen filter should be checked periodically and cleaned if necessary . 1. Remove filter by grasping end and removing it fr om water inlet of pump as shown. 2. Clean filter by flushing it with water on both sides.
15- ENG D26221 ENGINE Consult the Engine Owners Manual for the manufacturer's r ecommendations for storage. PUMP It is recommended that you follow these steps to pr otect the inter nal seals of the pressur e washer when STORING THE UNIT FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD and/or WHEN FREEZING TEMPERA TURES ARE EXPECTED.
