- 13 - P l a y b a c k P r e p a r a t i o n s Using the Power Adapter The DVD player is power ed via the switc hing power adapter or the battery pack (bo th are included). Dir ections for connectio ns are found bel ow: 1. Connect the AC adapter to the DVD player in the slot marked “Power In”.
- 14 - Power Supply Using and Charging the Battery Pack Charge the Battery Pack before using it the fi rst time. Charging time is normally about 4 hours. Do not charge the Batt ery Pack more than 8 ho urs as it could reduce servi ce life. Normally, the B attery Pack can be charged approximat ely 300 times.
- 15 - Power Supply Detaching the Battery Pack Detaching the Battery Pack f rom the unit: If the player is not going to b e used for a lo ng period of ti me, we recom mend that you detach the Battery Pack. Even if the unit is pow ered down, the unit is still consuming some power in ST ANDBY mod e.

- 17 - Play DVD Please read these instructions carefully befo re using your DVD player for the first time. Wa r n i n g : Do not play poor quality discs to pr event damage to t he lens. 1. T urn on the player’ s power by sw itching the POWER switch on th e side of the play er to “ON” .

Remove the disc from t he DVD drive and press t he ‘SETUP’ butto n on the remote control, the settings menu will appear . It includes General Setup, Speaker Setup, Dolby Digital Setup, Video Set up and Preference setup.
