8 P olaroid Phot oMAX PDC 640 Quickstar t Guide 2. Load four AA -size batteries into the compartment. Mak e sure the + and – terminals ar e oriented correctly in the c ompart ment, or the camer a will not function. Do not mix old and new batteries, or batteries of different types.
